output to xml using macro

I want to create a macro, which exports a report as XML file, however in a
drop down list I see only html, xls, rtf ... no XML. If using report
file>export function - then I can save as xml. Help says it is possible to do
with OutputTo action - why it is not working with a macro?
In fact I need a simple way to export a simple report for convient preview
with IE. If I am using a macro to export into html - I have result in several
pages, which is not suitable for me.
I am not familiar with html templates and VB code - need simple solution.
