outtlook 2000 is not responding when insert\file\look in...

When I go to insert a file and try to browse different folders, outlook 2000
stops responding and it is shut down. I tried creating different profiles
under different users and also reinstalled MS Office. Still the same thing
is happening? Could this be virus or spyware related... or windows issue.
