Ovelapping text

P

Pieter

Hi,

Anyone ever seen something like this:

I have a Word document wich contains text.
When I press the Print button on the toolbar, the following happens:
All letters in the sentences are moved to the left. So I end up with a
single column with overlapping letters.
The document is printed that way too.

I've tried several printer drivers (HP and Xerox) but the problem still
occurs every now and then.
The document is a merged document.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

On rare occassion I too have encountered the problem, but I see it on
the screen before I start to print. Often the only way to recover is to
cut and paste the text as plain text into a new document. I think it has
to do with the margin settings getting confused.

I use Word from Office97 on a WinXP SR2 machine.
