Over writing Baselines

I have an urgent requirement for denying the project managers from over
writing baselines. He/she can only save the baseline once.

Is there some security permissions which allows me to do this.\

Thanks in advance.

There is no permission that you can change that will allow your PM's to only
save a baseline once. On the other hand, you can do the following to
prevent your project managers from saving baseline entirelys:

1. Log into PWA with administrator permissions
2. Click Admin - Manage users and groups
3. Click the Groups link in the sidepane
4. Select the Project Managers group and click the Modify Group button
5. In the Global Permissions data grid, set the Save Baseline permission to
Not Allowed by (neither Allow or Deny are selected)
6. Click the Save Changes button

When you disable the Save Baseline permission for project managers, they
will be prevented from EVER saving a baseline. Therefore, your organization
must have a methodolody in place for someone else to save a baseline for
each project, such as a Senior Project Manager or a PMO. Hope this helps.
