overallocation seems to be due to already completed tasks

Hi ProjectExperts,

I am running four projects concurrently from a master.
I have two resourses showing overallocation.

The first resource is only required in one project (which is 90% completed).
He has one task left worth 1 hours work.
His calendar has plenty of time and this is the last task (not overlapping
any other)
The resource file is showing him at 400% peak. eventhough all of his other
tasks are complete.
Another thing that is strange about this project is the dates have past but
the product is not showing as behind schedule. (Track date is set correctly.)

Any help is appreciated,

Hello Rae,

If you are looking at the Peak Units field in the one of the tables, you
are seeing the highest peak throughout the entire project. So, it is
possible the peak is from actual work. Try displaying the Resource
Usage or Resource Allocation view and then using the Go To Next
Overallocation command (on the Resource Management Toolbar) to track
down any remaining overallocations.

As far as a late project not showing behind schedule, where are you
looking for that information? Have you saved a baseline? If so, the
Variance table should show start/finish variances from baseline.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
