Override default port won't stay checked.

Hello,

For some reason, the Override Default IMAP port setting won't stay checked.
This is a recent problem. Prior to this, Entourage would check and download
email from my several accounts without any problem. I noticed that email
that was sent a few hours prior wasn't downloading. I can see the email on
the server but Entourage won't get it until I manually open Accounts and
check the override default port box in Advance Receiving Option, then, when
I hit send and receive, all the mail downloads. However, the problem repeats
itself and, upon looking at the advanced setting, find that the box is not
checked. This is occurring with my IMAP account only, I'm having no problems
with the POP accounts.

For some reason, the Override Default IMAP port setting won't stay checked.

This could be one of those weird database corruption issues. Create a new
Identity. Enter your account info for the IMAP account. Does it stick in the
new Identity? If yes, then use File > Export as .rge file and move your data
over.

You might also try to repair your keychains. Sometimes the keychains
lose the port assignments.
