Overtype mode - what are the keystrokes that trigger ?

I must inadvertently hit whatever the combination is, as I find overtype is
turned on. This is OK in Word, but in my email program I cannot then turn it
off - and as I don't know what I did I cannot repeat it and undo it!

The Insert key is (usually - and always in Word) a toggle to switch between
Insert mode and Overtye mode

Pressing the Insert key toggles Overtype mode on and off. It's all too easy
to hit this key by mistake when you're reaching for Delete or Backspace.

I made a little cardboard cover for the Insert key which prevents accidental
activation. I just remove it when needed (rarely).

You can also remove the built-in shortcut from the Insert key in Tools/
Customize/Keyboard. Locate Overtype in the All Commands category.
