Hello,

For some reason, all my calendar entries older than about 1 month have vanished.

Using timemachine, I used an old main identity (offline) and restored all my calendar items. But once I connected to internet (and exchange...) all my entries were removed again. I also use a blackberry connected to the exchange server.

How can I restore and old identity and not lose the data when connecting to exchange again?

Thanks!! Dr. E

Hi,
For some reason, all my calendar entries older than about 1 month have
vanished.

It could be a server issue (I've seen it in the past).
Using timemachine, I used an old main identity (offline) and restored

exchange...) all my entries were removed again. I also use a blackberry
connected to the exchange server.

You can copy the old events on the On My COmputer calendar, then select
the Exchange account in the sections on the left of the main windoww,
Ctrl-clik it and use Properties to delete the Exchange cache there.
Then you can wait for a while to see everything repopulated and try
copying the events back.

The easiest way to deal with multiple events like that is to create a
custom view for all events on one account. The Custom view will list
them all, allowing you to select more than one message at the time.

Hi Corentin,

Thanks for your reaction! How do I copy the items to On My Computer calendar? I have quite a lot of events dating back from start of 2008?

While viewing your calendar, look for the All Events view under Calendar
Views in the folder list on the left.

When you select this, you will be able to select multiple events by
Shift-clicking (this selects multiple items in a row) or
Command-clicking (this selects just the items you click) to select
events and then drag them to the Calender under "On My Computer".

Hope this helps!
