I am updating a website which I created in November for the second time,
using Front Page. When I run the report on broken hyperlinks, it reports a
problem with a broken link to content that I have now deleted and replaced
with something else as it is out of date. There also seem to be an excessive
number of 'buttons' shown in the files and in the early days of designing I
did make several attempts at creating an attractive site and tried various
types of buttons.
The 'slow pages' report seems to indicate that the whole site would run slow
when republished so I am wondering - when I have changed the content on the
site, could it be that some of this earlier overwritten content is still
sitting somewhere in the background? If so, how can I get to it to remove it?
Any suggestions very welcome. Thankyou!
