OWA schedule resources not auto accepting

Using the OWA to schedule meeting and inviting a resource,
the resource doesn't auto accept even though setup to auto
accept meeting requests. The users that are invited
however will. Any know issues with this in 2000?
Running Outlook 2000 with Exchange 5.5 .
