OWC 10 - how to restore a pivot table view?

There are so many things I don't understand about the OWC 10 pivot
tables. I'm trying to learn from the toolkit but I'd appreciate some
help with this.

First of all, I'm using the OWC 10 pivot tables in Access 2002.

What I'm after right now is how to restore a pivot table to a default
view. I think a pivot table can be "arranged" by setting the
commandtext value of the control. However, I'm not sure how to put the
arcane sql or whatever it is together. I was hoping that I could pick
up the commandtext value from the control after arranging it by hand,
and then simply restore with that string, but there is no value in the
commandtext property... perhaps till it has been set in code. Isn't
there a way to get the sql or whatever it is behind the pivot table? I
don't really fathom mdx and all that yet. A couple of pointers would
be of great use.

I'm using Analysis Services and not Access but maybe you
should look at the XMLData member of the pivot table
instead, look at my post to the message: "Saving
pivottable OWC views"

Good luck,
Claude
