Hi
I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to improve the print quality of
images generated by owc charts. It seems printing the activeX image from a
web page delivers great images on bar charts only. Use of Line charts or pie
charts, renders the chart objects themselves poorly. Letters, axis and
titles however are in vector format too, and keep their quality. 3D charts
are the worst, with images, titles and legends being rendered VERY poorly.
The quality does not improve if the images are rendered as raster graphics
(gif/jpg/png) on the server.
I realize that the OWC is for producing web based office apps that support
functions like BI, but there is definitely a need to print these "views"
out. I have looked at other charting engines like chartFX which produce
SVG's, which do a much better job with printing.
Does anyone have any ideas and/or tips?
thanks
