OWC Format of Dates Pivot Table - inappropriate quarter numbers (U

I am using Access 2003 (11.6566.6568) SP2 - Office Web Components (10.0.0.6765)

I have a pivot table built using "Create data access page in Design view" in
which I have a Date field (Date format).
The Pivot Table Field List showed some extra fields (they are not in the
Source Data) which I assume have been automatically added - these are Date by
Week and Date by Month.
I placed the Date by Month field in the Column Field area. When a user, who
is viewing the pivot via Internet Explorer, selects the Date by Month drop
down the dates have been automatically grouped into Year, Quarter, Month,
etc. This initially seemed a really nice feature until I realised that the
quarters were based on Calendar quarters and not Financial quarters.

I would like
Quarter 1 to be April, May, June instead of January, February, March.

I hope someone can help with this.

If memory serves me correctly, you will need to apply a filter to the pivot
axis. Have a look at filtering with the Pivot Table.

Alvin, thanks for your reply.

I've just had a quick look at the properties of the "Month" field and the
FilterFunction is plFilterFunctionNone. There are options for the top or
bottom percent or counts. I also looked at the GroupInterval and GroupOn for
this field and the "Quarter" field but nothing obvious has appeared.
The source data for this pivot is called Query3 and there is 1 date field
and definately not a "Month" or "Quarter" field. I'd like to be able to
include a picture here to show you what I mean but I don't know how.
So I'm still not any closer to getting the quarter numbers changed.
Can you give me any more of a clue as to what I should be looking for with
these filters.

send your picture to vapordan @ hotmail, I'll take a look. Or you can attach
a picture to your message and post it, that way folk more knowledgable than
me can provide a solution.
