Hi All
I have a problem working with OWC 9.0
OWC shows all the Dimension data even when i enforce role security on
the server side for restricting some piece of information.
I created a role and and tested the role in Analysis manager using the
Test Role option.
but when i view the Cube within OWC, all the dimension data is shown.
I use an asp page for embedding the OWC Control and guessed that it is
something to do with the IUSR Account... then i changed to NT Challenge
and response setting
on the other hand i connect to the olap server from OWC using MS OLAP
Provider and it should actually take the context of the NT User account
of the workstation.
to ensure this, i added OWC Control to my visual basic project and
checked and the result is same (all the dimension data are displayed)
Do anyone have any idea as to what is wrong in my settings ?
