OWC.Spreadsheet from VC++ 6

Has anyone used OWC.Spreasheet from Visual C++ (version 6)?

I've been tasked with creating spreadsheets from a process that gets run
several times a day. The sheets get copied to a web-site for distribution.

I've tried automation in the past, but found that it really wasn't meant
for a "server". I have some users still using older versions of Excel,
so using XML or HTML to generate the output aren't options.

MS does discourage server-side use. You should pay attention to these
recommendations. However, the black book does discuss and probe the extent
to which you can bend the rules. So if you care to take the plunge, you can
extract some good results
