OWC SS Enhancement Request

Alvin or whoever,

Could you put the following request into Microsoft's OWC enhancement queue?

We would like the OWC spreadsheet component to support Excel's Data
Validation mechanism. This should be supported through the OWC object model
(e.g., Range.Validation.Add(...)).

The current ability to import some types of data validations through an XML
file just doesn't go far enough (e.g., it ignores the input and error
messages, doesn't handle valid lists and doesn't support in-cell drop-down
selection of allowed values).

This capability is a basic part of Excel functionality that's been there
essentially forever and it should be included in OWC 12.

TIA,

josh
