OWC - XML Data transfer to Excel 2003 from Access Data Project 200

Hi,

I have an OWC chart in an Access project. I would like to transfer the data and the formatting to Excel. I am using the XMLData property which I assumed would open perfectly in Excel without any modifications, code to write or objects to add. Howeve, Excel insists on opening the file as an XML list of all the properties of the chart, rather then the chart object itself (which the XML is describing)

I would like the chart to be created in Excel exactly as it is in the Access project OWC chart. Any help would be appreciated.

I am using Windows XP Professional, Office 2003 and SQL Server 2000. All systems are fully patched.
