OWC10 Can't create object error

I'm also receiving an "ActiveX component can't create
object" error after upgrading to the 11/21/2003 Office XP
Web Components (updated as part of the Microsoft Security
Bulletin MS02-044) when trying to set the ConnectionString
property of a pivot table object to a valid connection
string. This code worked prior to installing the
11/21/2003 version of OWC10.EXE.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

No, and this problem is particularly troublesome.
Uninstalling the 11/21 version of the controls does not
fix the problem, nor does reinstalling Office XP. We are
advising our Office XP users NOT to install this patch
version.
