OWC11 + .NET Performance

I am having a problem with performance against a large cube dataset.

Are there any methods on improving performance for:
- Scrolling large data sets in the OWC
- Exporting to Excel using .HTMLData method.

The OWC11 control is pointing to an Analysis Services 2005 cube using
http://

Scrolling seems to hang while it streams the data from the server.
Exporting takes 5-10 minutes.
