OWC11 PivotTable-Remove grand total column

Need help removing a grand total column by code, which is automatically
inserted when a new fieldset is inserted on the column axis. Have been trying
to use pivotField.subtotals property but that only seems to be a get function?
(I'm programmin a pivot table activeX control through COM in MBS Axapta)
