Ownership for SQL Analysis Services

I know, SQL Analysis Services is an add-on component to SQL Server. Who
do you think, should take ownership to the component?

SQL DBAs don't like to take ownership of Analysis Services, as they
think it should be application development / support related and not
DBA related.

Is it an industry norm? Thanks.
