Oxp update SP1

By checking messages relating to ERROR 1328 when
attempting to upload SP1, I found that this does not seem
to be an isolated problem.
Why is Microsoft not stepping to solve this common
nuisance? I don't see wy one should be involved in the
fairly complicated procedure, as suggested in one of the
letters, when it is obvious that this is a flaw in the
program? MS Service wake up. Do I hear from you?

You don't mention what refpage you used. Also, by searching this newsgroup,
you should have run across numerous suggestions related to this error. See
if one of these previously posted links helps in your situation.

If this is the article you read, did you check the version number of your
Office XP installation?
