Oxxice XP Interactive Training

I have Office XP Pro installed. When I first got my computer I found
the Office XP Interactive Training. My system developed serious
problems and I had to completely reinstall the OS. In reinstalled
Office XP Pro but now the Office XP Interactive Training is gone. I
can't find it anywhere on any CD that came with the system, nor on any
of the Office XP Pro CD's. Dell has been useless. Their advice is to
reinstall the software from the disk. That's my problem, I can't find
the software anywhere on the disk. Does anyone know where I can find
the Office XP Interactive Training? If it isn't on the three Office
XP disks that came with my system, does anyone know where I can
purchase it on-line? I am totally frustrated over this and neither
Dell nor Microsoft have been of any help.

Hi Cody,

The Office XP Professional CD for Step-by-Step Interactive Training
is on a separate CD that comes in a paper envelope\
rather than in the CD case if I recall correctly.

You can contact MS through the phone numbers on
http://microsoft.com/worldwide (800-360-7561) to see
if they have replacements for that CD or you can obtain
the CD as part of the Step-by-Step Office XP Book

Thanks Bob. Unfortunately my PC did not come with an Interactive
Training CD, but the software was preloaded by Dell. According to
Microsoft the CD you describe is included with Office XP Pro. No so
in the real world apparently.

Coincidently I also have a Gateway system, also runing XP Pro and also
with Office XP Pro factory installed. It too had problems, a bad hard
drive, that had to be swapped out. You guessed it, when I reinstalled
the OS and Office I again lost the Interactive Training. The Gateway
provided software also did not include the Interactive Training disk.
Gateway has been equally unresponsive to my efforts to rectify the
problem.

Both systems were new and both developed problems around the same time
so I didn't know I had lost it from one until both were reinstalled.
If the software is on a separate disk and that wasn't included with my
Office XP Pro software, how can I find a copy? Microsoft has been of
no help, neither has Dell or Gateway. I can't be the only person in
the world looking for this training CD. MS should have called it the
Virginity CD, because it appears that once you've lost it you can
never get it back.
