Any clues on the steps for migraiting current project (not concerned about
WSS data) from MSDE to a SQL2005 database. The PS2003 server will remain
in-situ, it's just the back end that is changing.
Does SQL come with a wizard to migrate from MSDE to SQL. Assuming it does,
then I'd need to add the relevant user accounts (MSProjectUser etc) to the
SQL database, and then use conninfo or editsite to set PS2003 to look at the
correct database. Is it really that simple, or am I missing somethings (very
likely).
I can test this from MSDE to SQL2000 and then upgrade to SQL2005, but I
suspect on customer site will have to migrate directly from MSDE to SQL2005.
All thoughts/comments and help appreciated.
