Pack and Go with embedded Flash

I have embedded Flash .swf files in my ppt presentation. When I "pack and
go" to a CD and use the presentation on another computer, my .swf files do
not play. How can I include the .swf files when I want to save my
presentation to a CD to be used on another computer?

My first question is. Why pack and go, when your putting the presentation on to
a CD? Pack and Go was invented before CD burners, and was mainly used to
transport presentations from one HD to another via floppy media. Your much
better off just burning your presentation to CD to play on other computers, that
have PowerPoint installed. If you put your .swf file into the same folder as
your presentation before you insert it. BTW, only files that get embedded are
..wav files all others are linked. You should be good to go at the other end.
Here is an alternative to Pack and Go.

Make an AutoRun CD

Are you choosing the Viewer when you Pack and Go? If so, that may be the
problem, as neither the 97 Viewer nor the 2003 Viewer support Active X
controls, and PPT uses an Active X control to play embedded SWF files.

Actually, SWF files can be embedded into PPT via an Active X control.
However, since the Viewers don't support Active X, SWF isn't a good thing to
use if you're distributing with the Viewer.
