Package for CD error

When i use package for CD logged in as administrator on our network, and
select my network home drive on any computer on site i get an error message
'The files cannot be copied to the temporary folder because the hard disk may
be full (which it definatly isnt). Free up space on the hard disk, and then
try packaging the files for CD again. If i click options and uptick
powerpoint viewer then it copies fine.

Hi,

How much room do you have? You need about 700 meg of temp space or more.

Thanks steve, it just doesnt make any sense! We are a Learning centre for
all schools in Halton and when groups come in from schools around the borough
to do powerpoint projects they want to package and go. Fortunatly most
schools have powerpoint on their networks.

Thanks again Steve, i installed a base system added to the network, no
service packs and it still did the same stupid thing!

No, it doesn't. Out of curiosity, do you have a PC with the original release of
OFfice, no service packs installed? As I recall, the whole Package For CD drill
was smooth here until I installed the first SP.

If only to gather data, it'd be worth testing on such a setup, if you have one.
