package for CD Powerpoint 2007

When I use the package for CD option with a CD-R disc, I get an error message
but it copies it anyway; however, when I use a CD-RW disc I get a message
saying, "not a writable disc" and it won't copy.

is the CD-RW absolutely empty? PPT can't write on a CD-RW when there is some
content already written on the CD. The best way is to use "Package for CD"
and use "Copy to folder". Afterwards you can burn the content of the folder
with your normal software for CD burning onto the CD-RW.

Yes, I used a brand new disc. I also tried the folder option--no success.

is that correct: you cannot burn a folder on the CD-RW with your program for
CD-burning? For example Nero?
