Package to CD will not autoplay

I have package presentations to CDs before and did not have any problem with
them auto-playing. Now, they won't. Have tried 2 different computers, but no
luck. All the files are there and I can play the presentation, but the CD
will not auto-play. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks,
RandyM

What version of PPT are you using to package for CD?

Do you have both a play.bat file and an autorun.inf file "loose" on the CD?
(That is, not in a folder.)

Do other CDs autorun on the computers in question?

Thanks for replying Echo S. I'm using 2003 and yes both files on on the CD.
What's weird is it runs on 2 other computers that aren't as new as the 2 I
tried it on that it wouldn't run. As far as the auto run on the CDs, some
will and some won't. Again thanks, for replying.

Well, if it runs on some, then it's not a problem with the CD / package for
CD process. I'd guess autorun has been turned off on the computers where the
CDs don't autorun. Or I suppose it could be a security setting that doesn't
allow the PPTView.EXE to execute...

I don't know. Maybe someone else will have ideas.

Thanks, that's pretty much where I am on it. Just one of those weird computer
'thangs'.
