Packaging Forms In Word for Distribution

Hi,

I created some forms in Word and would like to burn them to CD for
distribution. Is there a way to 1) package these forms for people who may
not have Word on their machine and 2) copyright them so people don't use the
same CD for all of their computers?

For (1), no. They could open and LOOK at the forms in the Word Viewer (d/l from
the microsoft.com site), but in order to USE them, Word needs to be installed.

For (2), this is the wrong group to ask, and I don't think "copyright" is the
term you want to use. I take it you're looking for some kind of licensing tool
that would restrict the use of the CD, and as far as I know, since CDs are made
to work as "read-only" (unlike the old diskettes) anything like that would
require something like an Internet connection and databank, registering the
when CD is used. (Similar to activating the Microsoft Office programs). This is
certainly a non-trivial undertaking and the question belongs in a programming
group.
