Page Banner's and Text appearing

I recently published our business web site with FP2002. When I published it
to the web, the page banners were doubled on the page, layerd so that you
could see one and a part of the other. I went back into the design pages and
deleted my page banners and then only one show up. Where did these come
from? , and how do I keep it from doing it again.?
It also inserted the side navigation buttons. I used the bottom buttons
only and never even used the nav. button on side of page in my design.

Also, at the bottom of every page is a notation of the page modification
date of Jan 2004. This was also not on the design pages and this site was
done in 2006. How do I get it deleted from my pages and/or update it to the
correct dates?

You've got shared top, left and bottom borders . If you don't want them,
click on Format/Shared Borders and get rid of them.

That's why you had a double banner: you wrote a banner over the shared
border, which already had a banner in it.

If you want to keep the bottom border, here's how to update it: Open the
folder " _borders". Click on bottom.htm. Just saving it should update it.
Take a look. If it hasn't updated, go back and put in the current date.

I can't help you with the nav buttons, as I have FP2003, and it functions
differently from FP2002.
