I have questions in regards to Page border art & Background graphics
What I want to do:
Create Stationery for Microsoft Outlook using the Page Border at and
Clip-Art picture found in Microsoft Word 2003.
What I tried:
When I got the page set up with the border around the entire page and the
Santa Clause face inserted into the document as a watermark, the first thing
that I did was click: File, "Save As Web Page" and then I gave it the name of
"CHRISTMAS" and the file was saved with the ".htm" extention in the directory
of C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Stationery\1033.
After the document is saved, the view in Microsoft Word switches to Wev
Layout view and I can no-longer see the Images on the Page.
For my second attempt I tried creating the stationery through Microsoft
FrontPage. When I tried to insert the background graphic it kept repeating
throughout the page and when I tried to put a boarder around the page it only
allowed me to put a line border around it.
For my third and final attempt, I tried to insert the "Christmas.htm" file
into the new webpage document that I had open in Microsoft FrontPage but that
didn't work either.
Questions:
1. How can I use the boarder and background image that I setup in Word 2003
as Stationarey in Microsoft Outlook2003?
2. Can the Stationery that I want to use be created in Microsoft FrontPage?
3. If it can, How do I get the Page border art from Word 2003 into
FrontPage2003?
(Note: In Word2003, open the borders and shading window and then click the
"Page Borde. In the "Art" drop-down menu, single-click with the left mouse
button on "(none)" and then press the down arrow on the keyboard 41
tmes. There you will see the image that I am trying to use as my boarder.)
4. If the image that I mentioned above has to be saved seperately for it to
work, where do I find it at on my computer so that i can save a copy of the
image file?
5. If it is possible, how do I get the background image to only be displayed
once aligned centered horizontally and vertically on the page?
I hope someone can help me out with these questions. If any of these
questions would be better off directed elsewhere please let me know. Thank
you in advance for your time and help. I greatly appreciate it.
Thank you,
John R. L.
