Page Borders

I need to have a fixed border on each page in the web.
This border must contain links and buttons.
How do I set this up?

I cannot use frames.

Problem is that all the pages already exist. I am copying them from an
existing frame-based version.

I need it only for part of my web - the part that cannot use frames.
I have users access a frame or a non-frame version depending on the browser.

Just enter content in them on any page (content will be the same for all pages you have applied them to)

Hi Jonathan,

Thank you for the posting. As you indicated you need to have a fixed
border on each page in the web and this border must contain links and
buttons.

To do so, you can use Shared Borders in FrontPage.

Set shared borders for a page:
==========================

On the Format menu, click Shared Borders.
Click Current page.
Specify the borders that you want on this page.

Note To remove the comment telling you to add content, select it, and
then press DELETE.

Set shared borders for a web site:
=============================

On the Format menu, click Shared Borders.
Click All pages.
Select the borders that you want to appear on every page in the current web
site.

Note If you select Top, Left, or Right, you can also choose to include
link bars. Dashed lines are displayed to indicate the shared border, and
you can now add the content you want.

Note If you included a link bar (and then added the page to Navigation
view), it is displayed in the shared border. Otherwise, a comment is
displayed telling you to add content. To remove the comment, select it, and
then press DELETE.

Hope the above information and suggestion helps and answers your question.
If anything is unclear, please let me know.

Sincerely,

Cherry Qian
