Page Breaks in Reports

Chris B.

I have a 5 page report that I have converted into access.
All the data is input into a form and arranged in a
query. Now I have to print out a report to match the one
we are automating and I can't get the pages to break where
I need them to with the appropriate headers. I have tried
breaking each page down into individual reports to run as
a sub report with no luck. Please help!

On the menu bar under view use sortings and groupings.
when you create a group you want to break on make sure you
include both header and footer. on the properties of the
footer you can select how you want it to break

You can insert a Page Break control anywhere in the report
(except Page Header/Footer sections).

Don't know how you want which headers to look, but maybe
setting a group header's Repeat property to Yes might
help???

HOW DO i INSERT THE PAGE BREAK CONTROL? GROUPING DOES NOT
APPLY, IT IS 4 PAGES WITHIN A GROUP!

The same as any other control, just select the Page Break
button in the Tool Box toolbar and then click in the area of
the report where you want the page break.
