page breaks or pagination

recently my word documents will not make an automatice page break. I have
typed 4 pages and only 1 shows up no matter what view I use. I have
pagination "on" in my tools/general icon.Even in print preview it will only
show 1 page and it will only print one page,although if I manually input page
break all 4 pages show up.

I can input a hard/manual page break but this won't move when I change the
text around.

Go to Format | Columns, make sure "Apply to" is set to "Whole document," and
click the One icon (even if it's already selected), then OK. If this solves
the problem in the current document, then you'll need to make this change in
