Page colour

I'm a teacher who has dyslexic children and would like for
them to type on a light green page rather than the usual
white. Is it possible to always have the page green when
the children are typing but for it not to effect printing?

Carole,

You can change from the white screen to a blue screen
background without affecting the printed text, but I know
of no way to change it to green. To change to a blue
background click...

Tools | Options | General: and select Blue background with
white text.

You have to change the window color in Windows Control Panel | Display |
Appearance.

Carole,

Changing your windows colors at the control panel will not
change the color of the page display. Currently, Word only
offers you to change it between Blue and White.

I beg to differ. My page color is set to off-white by this method, which I
have used in several versions of Windows and Word. Have you tried it?
