Page Delete error

Hello All,

We created a Drawing in Visio 2002 SP-2 english version. When we open
the same drawing in Visio 2002 SP-2 German version and try to delete a
Page we get an error

"An error (750) occured during the action page delete".

The page is not deleted and the name of the background page is changed.

Can anybody suggest what may be the problem. How to resolve this issue?

Regards

How are you detecting the page? Is there any chance that names are changing
from english to german? Do you have a code snippet?

Hello All,

We are not handling anything in the code. We just Use the English Visio
Drawing in German Visio 2002. When We try to delete the page using the
Visio Delete Page command we get the following error in German

"Ein Fehler (750) ist während der Aktion Zeichenblätter löschen
aufgetreten"

The background page name was initially Background-1 the default name
given by Visio. But this changes to something Like Sheet.3 or some
number after the above message appears.

do you have the background assigned to any foregrounds? You have to
'de-assign' them first. But this wouldn't account for the en-de
discrepencies...

Hello All,

The Background page is assigned to the foreground pages. If we delete
the english page names. Then the German Visio 2002 automatically
generates the German names for the pages and the background page. Then
the delete page is successful without 'de-assign' the background page.

Is this a problem in Visio 2002 German Version?
