page format set back to standard

I have a problem with reports in Access 2000: several
reports that for instance I set to landscape are set back
to portrait after some time; stickers where I set columns
at 2 are set back to 1 and margins change every time.
It does not only happen after I compress the database, but
also after having used them once.
It concerns a database that was converted recently from
Acces 97, where it all functioned properly.
Is there anyone that can help me?
