page from help menus are blank

Does anyone have any idea about this one when we open an
excel or any office XP products the Help Files pages are
blank. We did the Office XP repair.

Another thing when we click on start --> run --> help we
get an error message saying.

Cannot open the file:
mk@MSITStore:C:\WINNT\Help\windows.chm

PS: I also posted this in the windows 2000 newgroups. the
problem may me related.
