Page Header Issue

Hope this is the right group.

I've got a two page Microsoft Word 2002 doc, with the "Different First
Page" option selected, and page margins of 1/2inch (top) 1/4inch
(bottom, left, right). There are no section breaks whatsoever in the doc.
What I would like to do is make the second page's and any other
subsequent page top header be 1/4inch. Since the document may undergo
future revisions once in a while, inserting a continuous page break at
the end of the first page may screw up the formatting. Is there a work
around using a preprogrammed macro or the script editor.

You could insert a continuous section break right at the top of the first
page. This would give you the opportunity to make different sized headers
for both sections, and no chance of having this break spill to the second
page.
