Page Headers have Scroll bars!

How do I get rid of the scroll bars around the page headers? Everything I've
read says they shouldn't be there.

If there is content that is larger than the header can show, scroll bars
will appear. What happens when you scroll down/over? If you delete the
extra stuff and then scroll back up/over, the scroll bars should disappear.

Yes, I tried that and everything else I could think of. Out of desperation I
removed ALL the Sections, Forms, Tabs, you-name-it from the app. So I only
have My Notebook left. (I just started using the program, so no great loss)

If I create a new page, guess what? Scroll bars on the Header!

I _think_ this was caused by my accidentally pasting a huge amount of data
into the header title area (The rounded rectangle with the dashed line around
it). Of course I deleted it right away, but now the header still thinks it
needs to be HUGE.
BTW, the date & Time stamp seems to be placed where the program _thinks_ the
right edge of the header is, hence mostly out of view without scrolling.
Also, the scroll bars are both horizontal & vertical, and NO data is in the
bottom right edge.

I'm surprised this hasn't crept up before. I'm a programmer and I do know
my way around Microsoft programs, but I'm stumped on this one.

it sounds like you saved it as stationery and set it as default... or saved
it as the default. Somewhere there is a note container that is making it
huge - you'll need to find it and delete it.
