I have Office XP with Office SP2 installed on Win Xp
(sp1) box.
When I open new document in Word and go to Page Setup,
Word crashes.

detail of error is:

ModName: winword.exe ModVer:10.0.2627.0

Offset: 004ef6fd

None of Microsoft based-knowledge sheds any light to
this. Can anyone shed any light to this problem?

Try removing and reinstalling your printer(s). Page setup reads data from
the printer driver: page sizes, margin limits, etc. If the printer driver is
corrupt or the printer is not installed properly, that can cause Word to
crash (even if other apps are printing OK).
