I have a new computer with XP professional, with MS Office 2003
Professional installed.
My administrator account as usual doesn't have this problem but my regular
user account as usual does.
The problem: Starting a new document in word gives me a template with NO
margin at the top and bottom, despite the fact that page setup defines
margins of an inch or more. Nothing I do seems to make the slightest
difference.
I've worked around this problem by starting out loading an old document
originally created with Word 2000 (it never gave me this problem).
But even with a document that started out looking fine, sometimes simply
the process of editing results in a document with this same lack of margin.
How can this be fixed, and why does something so straightforward have to be
so complicated? I've already tried "fix and repair".
