I created several documents in Word 2003. Page numbers were correct in view
and in print. I opened the documents on another computer with Word 2007.
Page numbers appeared correctly in view/on screen but printing the documents
resulted in some page numbers showing up as Page 1 of 1, Page 2 of 2, etc and
on other documents showed up as Page 1 of 9 (when there were actually 18
pages) for the first nine pages then 10 of 18, etc to the end.
All section breaks, links to previous, numbering, etc was correct when
viewing show formats and in view mode.
In addition, in converting these Word documents to PDF, the faulty page
numbering carried over to the PDF version (using Adobe Standard v9) even
thought the Word document on screen was correct.
Any ideas?
