Page number problem - help needed!

I have added page numbers to the bottom of each page in a 10 page
document. The page numbers appear when I do a print preview.
However, when I actually print the document the page numbers are
missing.

Just how close to the physical edge of the page are they?
I've known Print Preview to be a little "optimistic" about paper sizes
sometimes while printers are real sticklers...

Try increasing the footer margin (in File / Page setup).
Check that you have the correct printer driver and the latest version of it.

Does anyone know how I can solve this problem?
For information I am using Office XP, on Win ME.
