Page Numbering always 0

Hi

I have a 78 page document created in word 9.0. When I open this in Word 10.0 all page numbers are reset to 0
In my footer I have a Page X of Y which displays as Page 0 of 78 no matter which Page I am on.
I have 4 Sections and no matter which section I apply page number formatting to the page is always 0

Any ideas?

I did have a floating picture in my header and once I made this an In-Line picture my page numbering worked perfectly.
