Page numbering format different from Table of Contents

Hi,

I have troubled with numbering. I have a template created for a report. In
that template, there is a number of different sections namely preface,
introduction, section, bibliography and so on. Each of these sections are
inserted into the report document using autotexts when template is open or
run. Everything worked fine until i added the following code in each of the
autotexts.

{ if{ =MOD({ PAGE \* Arabic },2}= 0 " " "[PAGE BREAK]This page is
intentionally blank." }

The issue now is it shows the wrong page number. For example, it should be
"page 1" but it shows "page i" in the footer. Strangely, when i checked in
the table of contents, it shows "Preface 1", but in the footer of
Preface, it shows "Roman" rather than "Arabic". Is this to do with the line i
added as above?

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance

For each Word section, choose the desired number format in the Page Number
Format dialog box.

To display the dialog box: Activate the header/footer area, for example by
double-clicking in the header. If you are using Word 97-2003, click Format
Page Number on the Header and Footer toolbar. If you are using Word 2007,
click Page Number (in the Header & Footer group of the Header & Footer Tools
Design tab), and then click Format Page Numbers.
