Page numbering problem - different

Ok, using the bookmark make it look like it was perfect ... on the screen.

I get the correct "total" number of pages displaying, however, when I print,
I get page 3 of 3, 4 of 4, 5 of 5 instead of 3 of 31, 4 of 31, 5 of 31. I
tried this with two printers, to rule out that it was the printer that was at
fault.

Any thoughts ... I'm at a loss. Thanks. Diana

I'm downloading now and am hoping it work. What a nuisance this is. Thanks
for the tip. I'll "re-read" your page of various fixes if SP1 doesn't do the

I'm trying to get the hotfix that MS says is available for Word2003. They
say they'll get back to me in 24 hours. I'm on a temporary assignment that
ends today and need to get this working. I have too many documents. Is
there a way to get this sooner: This is where the hotfix is described:

PS ... installing SP1 didn't fix the problem. It looks like the hotfix is
post SP1.
