This is probably a "user error"; but I just do not know
how to reset the situation so that it does not happen.
This concerns my documents formatted with page numbering
of either: (1) "Page X of Y", or (2) by entering those
fields seperately (ie, "Page ", page-number, " of ",
number-of-pages).
a. The editing view is fine; ie, it indeed shows "Page 1
of 6", "Page 2 of 6", thru "Page 6 of 6" as expected.
b. But when I print the document and specify a Page
range of All, the document prints "Page 1 of
1", "Page 2 of 2", thru "Page 6 of 6".
c. Fortunately, when I print the document with a
Page range of 1-6, all is well. Ie, pages print
as I expect them to.
Can anyone help me get back to the way page numbering in
Word was initially deliver? I've chased this now for 2
months and am getting frustrated.
Thanks ... Earl
