PAGE NUMBERING

I need to number each page amnually in my document. I
have an appendix and each page has a unique letter-number
combination. Anyone have ideas?

Hi Stan,

If you insert a section break between the main document
and its index, you should be able to put a PAGE field into
the header/footer of the first section to automate the
numbering.

Then, for the second section (containing the index),
change the header/footer parameters by de-secting 'same as
previous. Next, put a new PAGE field into the
header/footer of the second section to automate the
numbering and combine that with a field (or maybe even
just a character) that applies whatever logic you use to
assign the letters.
