Is is possible to supress a page number on one page and
then change the page number on the next page. For example
I do double page balance sheets that are considered one
page. I need to elimate the page number on the first page
but change the page number on the second page to one less
than it would normally be. Does anyone know? Thanks

File/Page Setup, click Different First Page on the Layout
tab. This will create two separate footers in your
document. Don't put anything in the First Page Footer.
In the other footer, insert a page number using the far
left icon on your Header/Footer toolbar; then click
Format Page Number and choose the number you want in the
Start At box.

Sara's answer is good as far as it goes. What you'll need is a calculated
page number in the Even Page Header, as follows:

{ = { PAGE }/2 }

If you want the same page number on the odd pages, use this field in the Odd
Page Header:

{ = ({ PAGE } + 1)/2 }

You must insert each pair of field delimiters (the things that look like
braces but can't be typed from the keyboard) using Ctrl+F9.
